It was meant to celebrate the arrival of the children of two sisters, Onaku and Heiata.
A joyful melody written to welcome new life.
But in the final lines, he felt something uneasy that he could not quite explain. The words hardly came… as if something was missing.
Then the tragic news arrived: one of the two babies had left us.
A little princess, Inapurehau, gone too soon… carrying away a piece of light with her.
Faced with this heartbreaking reality, the song took on an entirely different meaning.
It naturally transformed into a soft, deep and eternal tribute to Inapurehau.
A breath of love, tenderness and strength, carried by the bonds that unite us, way beyond the visible.
