The dance group – Ori i Tahiti

Ori i Tahiti was created in 2011. Teraurii PIRITUA is its artistic director.

It first entered the Heiva i Tahiti in 2012, in the Hura Ava Tau category, where they won 2nd prize. In 2013, they won the Hura Ava Tau category. Their first participation in the professional Hura Tau category came in 2015. And in 2018, they reached the top of Hura Tau with the “Prix Madeleine Moua”. They finished ahead of Hei Tahiti and Nuna’a e hau.
